Paramedical tattooing focuses on restorative work for people who’ve had surgeries, scars, or skin trauma.

It includes treatments like:

Scar camouflage to blend discolored scars into your natural skin tone

Inkless scar revision (microneedling) to smooth and improve scar texture using serums, no pigment required

3D areola tattoos for breast cancer survivors or after top surgery

Belly button restoration tattoos after tummy tucks or other abdominal procedures

Phalloplasty pigmentation for clients who have undergone gender affirming bottom surgery and want natural looking color and definition

So while PMU is aesthetic, paramedical tattooing is restorative, supporting both physical and emotional healing.

⁃ Take blood thinners (warfarin etc. or immunosuppressants)

⁃ Psoriasis near area of procedure

⁃ Allergies to pigment anesthetic

For all Paramedical Tattoos (3D Areola, Scar Revision/Camouflage, 3D Belly Button and Phallus Repigmentation) Patch testing is required for all paramedical procedures. We recommend booking your patch test at least 1 week before your session to allow time for any delayed skin reactions. Allergic reactions (especially delayed hypersensitivity) can take up to 72 hours to appear. This is especially important for clients with sensitive skin, autoimmune conditions, or past allergic responses. It also gives time to assess both pigment and anesthetic reactions. We’ll send details by email and ask you to sign a waiver

After your tattoo session, there are several things you should avoid to protect the area and support pigment retention:

-Direct sun exposure or tanning

-Swimming (pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans)

-Excessive sweating (intense workouts or saunas)

-Applying makeup, lotions, or oils on the treated area

-Scratching, picking, or peeling any flaking skin or scabs

-Sleeping directly on the tattooed area

-It’s also best to avoid using exfoliating products, harsh cleansers, or active skincare (like retinols or acids) near the tattooed site until it’s fully healed.

On its own, bottom liner can sometimes make the eyes appear smaller or tired so a full consultation is important to decide what works best for you.

Most clients are surprised by how little it actually hurts. The idea of tattooing near the eyes can feel intimidating at first, and it’s totally normal to be nervous many people think it will feel like I’m poking their eye. But that’s not the case at all.

I apply a strong topical numbing cream before and during the procedure, and once it kicks in, the majority of clients say they barely feel anything at all just a light pressure or a tickling sensation near the lashes.
