  • What’s the difference between permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing
Permanent makeup (PMU) is cosmetic tattooing that enhances your natural features like shaping your brows, defining your eyes, or adding color to your lips. It’s meant to boost your everyday appearance and confidence. Paramedical tattooing focuses on restorative work for people who’ve had surgeries, scars, or skin trauma. It includes treatments like: Scar camouflage to blend discolored scars into your natural skin tone Inkless scar revision (microneedling) to smooth and improve scar texture using serums, no pigment required 3D areola tattoos for breast cancer survivors or after top surgery Belly button restoration tattoos after tummy tucks or other abdominal procedures Phalloplasty pigmentation for clients who have undergone gender affirming bottom surgery and want natural looking color and definition So while PMU is aesthetic, paramedical tattooing is restorative, supporting both physical and emotional healing.

For all Paramedical Tattoos (3D Areola, Scar Revision/Camouflage, 3D Belly Button and Phallus Repigmentation) Patch testing is required for all paramedical procedures. We recommend booking your patch test at least 1 week before your session to allow time for any delayed skin reactions. Allergic reactions (especially delayed hypersensitivity) can take up to 72 hours to appear. This is especially important for clients with sensitive skin, autoimmune conditions, or past allergic responses. It also gives time to assess both pigment and anesthetic reactions. • What is permanent makeup / cosmetic tattoo
It is a semi permanent Cosmetic Tattoo performed with a digital machine to implant pigment into the deeper layers of the epidermis. It is ideal for people who do not want themaintenance on a daily basis.
  • Is there anything I should avoid after my tattoo
After your tattoo session, there are several things you should avoid to protect the area and support pigment retention: For the first 7–14 days (or until fully healed), avoid: -Direct sun exposure or tanning -Swimming (pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans) -Excessive sweating (intense workouts or saunas) -Applying makeup, lotions, or oils on the treated area -Scratching, picking, or peeling any flaking skin or scabs -Sleeping directly on the tattooed area -It’s also best to avoid using exfoliating products, harsh cleansers, or active skincare (like retinols or acids) near the tattooed site until it’s fully healed.
  • What types of brow techniques do you offer
I offer various techniques tailored to your skin type and preferences, including: Nano Brows (Hair like strokes for a soft, natural effect) •Powder/Ombre Brows (more defined and filled in look) •Combo Brows (a blend of both styles)
  • Do I get to pick the shape
Totally! I map your face, take your input, and we agree on a shape together before anything is done.
  • Can I still wear brow makeup after
You likely won’t need to, but once fully healed, yes you can apply brow products if you want to boost them for special occasions
  • Is there any downtime
There’s some light scabbing and flaking for a few days after. You’ll want to avoid workouts, steam, and sun exposure during healing. Healing takes about 10–14 days, with full results at 4–6 weeks.
  • How long do brows last
Typically 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare. Oily skin may fade faster.
  • Will I need a touch-up
Yes. A perfecting session is recommended 8 weeks after the initial procedure. After that, maintenance is usually every 12–24 months.
  • Does it hurt
Discomfort is minimal. A topical anesthetic is used to keep you as comfortable as possible.
  • Do fine line tattoos hurt more than regular tattoos
Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but fine line tattoos often feel less intense than traditional tattoos because less shading and pressure are used. However, placement on sensitive areas can still cause discomfort.
  • How long do fine line tattoos last
Fine line tattoos can last for many years, but because they’re more delicate, they may fade faster over time, especially in high-friction or sun exposed areas. Touch ups may be needed to maintain their crisp appearance.
  • Will my fine line tattoo fade
All tattoos age over time, but proper aftercare and sun protection can help maintain clarity.
  • How should I care for my fine line tattoo
Follow your the aftercare instructions, which usually include keeping the area clean, avoiding direct sun exposure, and applying a healing ointment. Avoid scratching or picking at the area during healing.
  • Can I get a fine line tattoo over a scar
Yes, in many cases! Fine line designs can work over healed scars, but an assessment Is needed.
  • How long does a fine line tattoo take to heal
Initial healing takes 7–10 days, but full healing may take 4–6 weeks. During that time, the tattoo will settle into the skin and soften slightly.
  • Are touch-ups included in the price
One complimentary touch up within (usually 6–8 weeks) is included if needs be.
  • What kind of designs work best for fine line tattoos
Fine line tattoos are ideal for minimal, detailed, and delicate designs like florals, symbols, script, constellations, or micro portraits. Designs with lots of shading or bold outlines aren’t recommended for this style.
  • Can I get a fine line tattoo as my first tattoo
Yes absolutely, Fine line tattoos are a great choice for your first time because they’re generally smaller, quicker, and less painful. However, some areas of the body are more sensitive.
  • Can fine line tattoos be done in color, or only black ink
They’re most commonly done in black or gray, but can incorporate subtle colors. Keep in mind that colored fine line tattoos may fade faster and require more touch ups.
  • Is numbing available for fine line tattoos
No, numbing is not offered in the studio. Fine line tattoos are typically well tolerated due to their delicate nature and minimal trauma to the skin. A little discomfort is part of the process and comes with the territory. Most clients find it manageable.
  • What’s the cost of a fine line tattoo
Pricing varies by size, complexity. There is a minimum fee, even for tiny designs. Fine line work often requires more precision, which can affect the price. Final pricing will be confirmed during your consultation.
  • What makes fine line tattoos different from regular tattoos
Fine line tattoos use single needles or very thin liners to create soft, delicate lines, rather than the bold outlines or heavy shading typical of traditional tattoos.
  • Who is not a good candidate for fine line tattoos
Those with extremely oily skin, frequent sun exposure, or conditions like eczema on the tattoo site may experience more fading. Clients should also be able to commit to aftercare and understand potential for touch ups.
  • Can fine line tattoos be done over stretch marks
Sometimes, yes. It depends on the location, depth, and color of the stretch marks. An in person consultation is best to determine suitability.
  • Is there a risk of blowout with fine line tattoos
Yes, since the lines are so fine, precision is everything. A blowout happens when ink spreads under the skin.
  • Can I bring my own design
You’re welcome to send inspiration or reference images ahead of time but I’m not a walk in studio, so all designs must be discussed and approved in advance. I’ll work with your ideas and create a custom design tailored to your skin and the fine line style. A design fee applies, and nothing is tattooed without a prior consultation and final approval.
